History students:
Remember the lessons you learned from dance last week? Try to work more to make your frames subtle (they wear black) and your pictures, your writing, bolder through better use of nouns and verbs. We're writing essays, but they don't need to be dull.
I'll be bringing some essays for your reading pleasure this week to class (early Oct). Watch how this gentleman writes his essays.
Most of you have all the tools in terms of understanding the mechanics and the framework to an essay. Now you can start more and more to shine in your writing. It will take some hard work for some of you, but it will make a huge difference in how your essays read and the personal satisfaction you can take from a job well done.
