BOOK LIST INFORMATION IS UNDER THE ENTRY FOR MARCH 02, 08.


Dear students and parents,

I hope that everyone is having a fine summer. Yesterday and today are surely
the most beautiful days we’ve seen in June (though we definitely need some
rain).

Below is some important information regarding various classes. Please read
carefully.

The parent/student meeting will take place at 7 p.m. on August Thursday, August
14, at Trinity Presbyterian Church. If you need directions to the church, you
may either call me or call the church at 299-3433 (Trinity has the directions on
the answering machine). Books for Latin I classes may be purchased at this time.
Books for Latin III class will be distributed.

Classes will begin the following Monday, August 18.

The reading assignments by class for the summer are as follows:

Latin I--No assignment until August 14.

Latin II--Memorize in Henle Latin I book Mastery Review Vocabulary I and II
(begins on pages 91 and 217)

Latin III--Memorize in Henle Mastery Review Vocabulary I, II, and III (begins
on pages 91, 217, and 473)

3Rs--Read Treasure Island before classes start.

U.S. History and Literature--Read Education of a Wandering Man

AP U.S. History and Literature--Read Education of a Wandering Man

AP English Literature --Read Education of a Wandering Man

AP Latin Virgil--Assignments sent by mail.
